Our Principal Lawyer
Sherwin Noorian is the Principal Lawyer of Globalised Pty Ltd and is the only dual qualified, dual-citizen United States and Australian immigration lawyer based in and practising out of Australia.
Sherwin has over eleven years of US immigration law experience and has been practising US immigration law out of Australia for seven years. Prior to establishing Globalised US Immigration Lawyers, he worked in Sydney at the world’s largest corporate immigration law firm as the lead US Attorney for the firm’s Foreign Consular Practice covering the US Consulates across the entire Asia Pacific region.
Sherwin’s business immigration experience ranges from supporting the US immigration needs of some of the most innovative and ambitious Australian startups doing business in the US through to ASX-listed corporates sending employees to the US.
He has also supported hundreds of highly skilled Australian and New Zealand professionals, creative talents, and athletes with their US visa processes as well as provided US Consular Processing support for hundreds of C-suite executives, specialist workers, and professionals based in southeast Asia, China, India and other APAC jurisdictions.
Sherwin has also assisted hundreds of binational families with their family-based US immigrant visa and adjustment of status applications leading to permanent residency in the US.
Sherwin was conferred a Juris Doctor degree by the University of Houston Law Centre in 2012 and then went onto pass the bar exam and be admitted as an attorney by the Supreme Court of Texas. After several years practising immigration law in New York City, he moved with his Australian partner to Australia in 2017 and became an immigrant himself, having gone through the partner visa and subsequent citizenship conferral processes. In 2020, he completed the requisite qualifications and was admitted as an Australian legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of Victoria.
